What cleaning method is best for upholstery?
Most upholstery can be safely and effectively cleaned by hot water extraction(Steam cleaning). Some fabrics are susceptible to color migration or are too delicate for extraction cleaning. These fabrics have to be cleaned by “low moisture “ cleaning methods.

What is hot water extraction cleaning?
Hot Water Extraction is also known as “Steam Cleaning”. Our state of the art truck mounted system supplies water at extremely high temperatures, as well as delivering additional suction power to remove the majority of water, dirt, grime and foreign materials from your carpets and upholstery. Most carpet manufacturers recommend this method of cleaning.
How long will it take for my carpets to dry?
Drying times vary. It can take between 4-6 hours. However, many Factors can affect drying times these factors being:
• Humidity
• Ventilation
• Carpet thickness
• Water retention qualities of the carpet fibre
How often should I clean my carpets?
We recommend to maintain the life and look of your carpets, you should clean them at every 12-18 months. However, if your carpets need to be cleaned more often than that due to heavy traffic, or due to spots or other spills, then have them professionally cleaned as needed.
Can you overlock second-hand carpet?
Unfortunately, we are not able to overlock used carpet as it contains harmful particles and soil which will damage our machine.
Can you overlock different shapes?
Yes, we can, it takes a little longer and the price is quoted on each individual job.
Can you overlock a mat for Timber Flooring?
Yes, we can – we can stitch a calico backing onto the back of the mat.
Can you overlock mats for a Boat?
Yes we can – a template must be supplied and the price will be quoted accordingly.
